Emmanuel Berbari

Sports Broadcaster & Journalist
Fordham University

Thank you for stopping by!

My passion for sports broadcasting spans back to the age of 13, when I first stepped behind a microphone, two weeks after I was cut from my high school basketball team.

By no means am I associating myself with Michael Jordan, but ever since that moment, I knew I wanted to call games for a living, and a fascinating idea quickly spiraled into a desired career path.

I learned as much as I could about the industry and worked to improve my craft every day, attending a sports broadcasting camp to learn the nuts and bolts, becoming the play-by-play voice of my high school, hosting a sports call-in show the following year, working part-time at a local college, broadcasting for a summer collegiate baseball league, and hosting podcasts to become more comfortable behind a microphone.

As a rising sophomore in college, I have called Division I men's and women's basketball, baseball, softball and men's and women's soccer, anchored drive-time sportscasts, and hosted and produced talk shows and various podcasts.

This summer, I'm interning at CBS Sports Radio and WFAN.

Within this website, you can view/listen to samples of my work, access my rèsumè, learn what I have been up to lately, and reach out to me.

I am always looking to take on a new opportunity in a challenging, demanding, and evolving industry. I hope to hear from you soon!
